One of our greatest accomplishments is that we are one of the first and few Security Companies to purchase, become certified for, and carry, "NON-LETHAL" devices. We spent a very large amount of money to purchase the equipment, and then attend Instructor training and certification, to learn how and when to properly use them. We are talking about the TASER© and PepperBall^TM "NON-LETHAL" devices. We are also the First Private Security Company in California to become certified with, and carry PepperBall^TM equipment. These are the same devices used by an increasing number of Law Enforcement Agencies across the United States and abroad. These devices have saved thousands of lives, and have reduced liability, as well as lawsuits. We hope that we never have to use these devices, but if we are ever faced with a dangerous situation, it is nice to know that we don't always have to resort to using a baton or firearm like most of the other Security Companies.

     Our Patrol vehicles are marked dark grey and black Ford Crown Victorias, and a Chevrolet Tahoe. We also have several unmarked vehicles which for security reasons, will not be identified here. They are equipped with lights, computers, prisoner cages, radios, first aid kits, emergency road flares, cameras, caution tape, on-board in-car color video camera systems, and other necessary equipment. The video equipment is mounted to the front of the vehicles and are used to video tape any incidents which occur in front of the vehicles. Our Supervisor and Special Enforcement units have front and rear radar equipment, for use during on property traffic enforcement details.

     The computers make it possible for the Officers to have the client information when they need it. The computers have several databases which were exclusively built for, and maintained by, Austin Housing Patrol. The databases are used to store calls, vehicle information, property information, person information, and it allows us to keep very accurate records of what we have done (vehicles which have been cited or towed, calls we have responded to, property crimes, problems etc.).

     Most important are the highest trained, best equipped, and most professional Officers that this industry has ever seen.

We have raised the bar, and set a new standard for Security Patrol.
